Free Snowshoe Experiences

Although the aspen leaves are gone and many animals migrate or hibernate during the winter months, Walking Mountains Science Center’s free snowshoe hikes are the perfect way to discover nature’s resilience! Whether you are looking to explore the quiet, snowy Colorado backcountry or looking to escape the busy ski slopes, our free snowshoe hikes are perfect for curious visitors and locals alike.

We offer free snowshoe adventures from two different locations, click below for more details on the program you are interested in!
