Stacey Duval

Stacey was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Chemistry. From there, she pursued her love of education and adventure and headed west, earning her M.Ed. at the University of Arizona. She moved to Colorado in 2013. Stacey has taught middle and high school science and STEM in Tucson, Arizona, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and here in Colorado. She is passionate about guiding students to become self-directed learners through hands-on, collaborative learning experiences. Currently, Stacey is a Girls in Science Instructor, supporting 3-5 grade girls to develop their passion and interest in STEM. In her free time, Stacey enjoys reading, climbing, hiking, and exploring with her husband and daughters.
