Genevieve Giarrusso

Foley Graduate Fellow

GG (she/her) grew up in central New York and learned to love the outdoors exploring the lands around her home, sailing on Lake Ontario, and being a camp counselor in the Catskills Mountains. At Keuka College located in the finger lakes, she earned a B.A. in Biology with Organismal Studies and got the chance to explore her teaching passions through many field periods. Her curiosity led her to SouthEastern Minnesota working at an environmental learning center teaching many students over the years to step outside their comfort zones and into their challenge zones. GG chose Walking Mountains Science Center because she is ready to explore a new place, sharing her passion for the outdoors and having fun. Go Team OwOw! Outside of work GG can be found running and biking on the trails, painting birds, and playing with her dog Lima Bean.
