Teresa Cierco-Lopez

Teresa is the Eagle Valley Outdoor Movement (EVOM) manager at Walking Mountains. Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain she pursued her BA in English Language and Literature at the Universitat de Barcelona and then a MA in Spanish Language and Literature at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C as well as a certification in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. She has taught at an elementary dual language school and at a University level Spanish, English and ESL in Spain and in the US for over 27 years.

She is very passionate about the outdoors where you will find her most of the time above 12,000ft. You are also likely to see her skiing, cooking, traveling, visiting and spending time with family in Spain, learning and practicing foreign languages, having quality time with friends or promoting multicultural, multilingual and equitable inclusive environments.
