Chantel Recksiedler
Growing up, Chantel had the opportunity to live in Arizona, Idaho and Minnesota. Living in such diverse places opened her eyes to the diversity and beauty of nature. In her teen years, Chantel enjoyed canoeing on the Mississippi River and camping in the secluded Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Through her education towards a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Phoenix, Chantel became extremely passionate about environmental justice, sustainability and climate change. This passion is what brings her to Walking Mountains. In her role as the Climate Action Collaborative Coordinator, she supports the Climate Action Collaborative Manager as well as the Climate Action Collaborative in their work on the Eagle County Climate Action Plan.
In Chantel’s free time you can often find her in the mountains hiking, camping, or enjoying the views. She also enjoys reading, cooking and traveling.
