Why do you support Walking Mountains Science Center?
Since I first moved to Vail in 1991 I have spent much of my time enjoying the natural environments that surround us here in our community that I am proud to call home. My true awaking regarding the importance of science based stewardship occurred when I managed the Colorado River Ranch which was placed into a conservation easement. From this experience I was able to work on a number water related conservation measures at a state level. When asked to be a board member I felt that Walking Mountains was the perfect opportunity for me to share my knowledge with fellow board members, staff and community.
