Walking Mountains Summer Science Camps in Colorado allow youth to experience the wild places of the Eagle River Valley while nurturing a connection to the natural world through daily excursions outside. Campers develop an understanding of scientific concepts through engaging activities, place-based learning, and exploration. All Summer Science Camps are taught by qualified natural science educators who make sure each camp is age-appropriate, unique, safe, and fun.

Camp pick up and drop off take place either at Walking Mountains in Avon or at Brush Creek Elementary School in Eagle. Overnight camps take place at one of the historic 10th Mountain Division Huts.

Please note that camp ages are based on the grade your camper is entering in the Fall of 2025
